Pastor Robert Johnson, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, gave his life to Christ in 1991 while serving in the U.S. Army, where he earned multiple awards, including for leadership and service during Desert Storm. After his honorable discharge, he felt called to full-time ministry.
He began serving in 2003 and pursued formal training, earning a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies, a Master’s in Theology, and, most recently, a Doctorate in Christian Education. In 2009, he launched a home Bible study, which grew into Word of Truth Christian Center, a ministry focused on discipleship, prayer, and outreach, equipping people to walk in love, encouragement, and healing through God’s Word.
Pastor Johnson is married to Leading Lady Kendra Johnson, an attorney, and together they have five children: Markia, Tiffany, Anaya, Aiyanna, and Robert.
At Word of Truth, our mission is to inspire and uplift through faith, creativity, and authentic expression. We exist to guide hearts toward a deeper relationship with Christ, provide spaces for healing and growth, and empower individuals to live intentionally and purposefully.
